Ordered these after becoming concerned about debris on landing/take off area. Using my Mavic in Hawaii a few weeks ago, I was concerned about setting the Mavic down on several areas and possibly forcing sand, water, etc into the aircraft internal areas from rotor wash. Everywhere I flew, the ground was either wet, sandy, or both. The very low ground clearance on the Mavic had me concerned about take offs especially, (initial power to the props can scatter debris and force it into the Mavic). Landings were less of an issue, having the Mavic hover for a moment and clear the landing area with the prop wash was easy. On one occasion, the only area suitable for take off was wet grass, and I opted for a "hand" launch, which with the downward sensors/cameras can be a gamble. I saw these while looking for options (I was initially going to purchase the stowable landing pad, but found these, and figured with a higher ground clearance, I could be less concerned about atomizing water vapor on lift off and possibly forcing it into the electronics bay(s) of the Mavic. The box arrived quickly, and they are well made. The do (literally) pop right on and off and will be well suited for exactly what I had in mind when starting this process. The increased ground clearance also raises the props away from potential hazards, and they appear "hearty" enough to withstand rougher landings. For the price, a little extra piece of mind is well worth the investment and while it does effect the overall portability (the Mavic cannot be folded properly with the legs mounted) they are easily removed/installed. I can toss them into my transport "kit" and deploy them when needed, while keeping the portable aspect of the copter and maintaining the ease of transport. (Posted on 8/10/2017)
