Been want a drone for a while. My son is a professional photographer and was very impressed with the camera quality. The drone is very easy to fly because of all the smart technology incorporated. It has a high quality feel and good looks. Portability is awesome in my opinion. Hope that the battery technology get better as far flight time. It is good now, but longer flight times would enhance the drones capabilities tremendously. It has many cool features that I like. The tracking, home button, sport mode, GPS tracking, and more. I bought this drone for my 11 year old son. He wants to start a drone photography business and take real estate photos, etc. He wrote a business plan on why he wanted the drone so I caved. We have flown the drone several times and it has been extremely easy to use for first timers. The picture quality is really good, however, a few times it was very windy so the photos didn't turn out great, but this has nothing to do with the drone. This Mavic PRO is my first drone, it is so easy to fly and use. The 4K photo is so high quality it looks great, you can zoom in on a photo and crop them down with out losing quality, the return to home works great and is so easy to use. This drone is just amazing! It's my first drone and I am able to hike, travel and snowboard with the thing with no problems. It didn't take too many flights to get the basic controls and auto functions down. It's durable, small and lighter than I expected. Just buy it! It's so worth it! I am so glad I waited to buy a drone. The wait (almost a month) is worth it. It's fast, great looking and not too hard to start to fly. I just need to learn more about the camera settings. My first flight was January 8 and the weather isn't so nice (NJ). It was windy and very cold. I didn't see any problem flying during a very harsh weather, but after about ten minutes I stopped due to weather. I would say the it has a very good design and the quality is really good. I can't wait for a better weather to really find out what Mavic is made off. I have no problem recommending this drone to anybody. (Posted on 1/9/2017)
