I was watching reviews and unsure if I wanted to spend the money on the Mavic but it does not disappoint. It is fun to fly and even if you don't have any drone experience it's still easily piloted. Video and Photo quality is amazing and you have easy access to review the shots in the DJI app. Also, the Fly More package is worth the extra money too. After having had a few other drones, from toy beginner drones to the very capable 3DR Solo, I decided to buy the Mavic Pro here. Because of its advanced features and small travel friendly size. The built quality is amazing, its solid, yet light weight. And very innovative, how the arms fold out. The various flight modes are more than enough, for me at least. It flies super stable and hovers better than any other drone I've seen. Various camera settings are great for the more advanced photographer. Contrary to most other drones, its also complete and needs no modifications. No change of GPS, antennas and so on. But get an ND filter, since aperture is set to a large 2.2. I cant wait to go traveling with mine. A regular drone would be to big to take around the world, but the Mavic will be a great travel companion. This drone is the easiest most versatile drone to fly. I am by no means a photographer but this drone makes me feel like one with ease. I am a novice pilot but honestly there isn't a done out there that makes you feel like you are a pro like this one. All in all I couldn't be happier with my DJI Mavic Pro fly more combo. I have owned 4-5 different "drones" through the years, this is my 2nd DJI product. First had the Phantom 3 and now the Mavic. Both are excellent but he Mavic is hands down my favorite due to the compactness of it, and the speed in sport mode is amazing... It's not a toy for kids by any means.. so know that when buying... but it's a Great TOY for adults!!!
I love my drones and will continue to buy DJI products from Drone World as they offer the best packages and bundles.. my only fear is that DJI will come out with yet something better, and I may have to upgrade... not a bad problem to have.. As a wedding videographer, I've been looking to purchase the Phantom 4 for several months. However, the only thing holding me back was the size and feeling that it wouldn't be convenient to pack around a whole extra carrying case. When I saw the release video for the Mavic, I knew this was the drone I've been waiting for! It's super convenient, light, and doesn't add much more to the tons of equipment I already have to pack. I can carry it on me the entire wedding, and if I see an opportunity for a shot, setup is a breeze! The excitement alone that it brings to the bridal party when they see it makes this drone worth it. The Mavic PRO is an amazing drone! I need a lot of capability in a small package and this drone has it all. It will serve eventually as a marketing tool for our bareboat charter business. We needed something that did not require it's own bulky piece of luggage, space on a boat is limited.
